She has authored numerous children’s books, is a mother of two, and is an avid traveler. Kim has been crocheting, quilting, and sewing for most of her life. She enjoys the practical side of the hobby, but really knows how to keep things fun, too.

When it comes to knitting, Kristen Chan is our local expert. Kristen uses her years of expertise and teaching experience to making knitting projects accessible for all skill levels. Together with her business partner and dear friend, Becky Swanson, she owns a knitting shop called Kristen’s Knits located in Minnesota.

Nancy Eha, affectionately dubbed “The Beading Queen,” is actually a quilt artist who adorns her award-winning quilts with colorful, whimsical, and often three-dimensional beadwork. Every month, she designs and creates a variety of period costumes, accessories, and hats for her town’s many historical festivals and events.
